To a County Durham C19 worthy, William Henry Lambton. Below the bearded bronze-medallion face it reads: In remembrance of WHL Who was for 30 years Secretary of the Durham County Colliery Enginemen and Boiler Minders Association Died December 21st 1895 Aged 67 years Erected by the Association and friends as a token of their appreciation of his services and esteem for his sterling character.
