E. Purslow & Son are coal merchants, and also suppliers of aggregates, sand, gravel and decorative stone. Their website states they were established in the 1920's, when a horse and cart were the means of transport. The premises are in Barkers Lane, although they use the address Pinkham, presumably because vehicular access is via the road of that name.
