This comfortable room was used by guests. The Chippendale furniture includes the elegant clothes press, the chairs and the gentleman’s dressing table. This room and the Breakfast Room were damaged by a fire in 1980. Faithful restorations of the wall paper and fabrics were based on small surviving samples and Paine’s drawings.
