Exit from Asda

Image: © Gerald England Taken: 11 Sep 2013

The exit from Asda to Corporation Street opposite Henry Street. A sign reads "Trolleys will automatically stop if taken if taken beyond the red line". It seems the red line is a kind of electronic fence that will detect a signal from a microchip that locks the brakes on trolleys that attempt to cross.
