The cycle racks in Cinderford Rugby Club colours feature a collier’s wheel, Forest of Dean oak leaf and acorn motifs. They were created by artist, designer and blacksmith Clare Robertson of MissFire, based at Clearwell Caves. Clare said that the collier's wheel pays respect to the traditions and history of the Forest of Dean, the oak is a symbol of strength, and the acorn signifies growth, potential, youth and regeneration. This is part of town centre improvement works funded by Forest of Dean District Council. The Golden Lion http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/3653308 is in the background.
