Google Street View was used to locate this image. There is now a Tesco Express and Superdrug store in the rectangular 1960s-style building beyond the second parked van. The buildings further along the road do not seem to exist any more as the area has been redeveloped. The dark shadow is a flaw in the negative - not some giant triffid looming nearby.
