Kangaroo and Platypus sculptures

These Kangaroo and Platypus Bronze statues on an island in The Water Gardens were a gift to Hemel Hempstead from the Australian new town of Elizabeth, South Australia, in 1963. They are by the Australian artist John Stuart Dowie (1915 – 2008).
