As its name suggests, the Thames Path follows the River Thames. This section of the path is shared by pedestrians and cyclists. Here it forms part of National Cycle Network route 1, which stretches from Dover to the Shetland Islands, as well as the Thames Cycle Path. This view looks westwards at Woolwich Reach. In the background are the Thames Barrier, the O2 (formerly the Millennium Dome) and the towers of Canary Wharf.
