The Scottish Baronial style Glen House was completed in 1855 by the architect David Bryce. The estate was at that time owned by Sir Charles Tennant whose grandfather had started a company based on improvements in the cloth bleaching process. It is still owned by the Tennant family, and the house is now available for weddings and corporate events.
