Situated at 1 Dover Road, the business established in 1853 by Samuel Dean Hambrook at 40 Rendezvous Street, was moved to its present location in 1938 http://www.dignityfunerals.co.uk/index.asp?pageid=18&fd=176 There was a notice in the centre of the door which gave the new locations of Hambrook and Johns, which are 16 Cheriton High Street and 37-39 Black Bull Road, Folkestone. The road to the left of the building is Foord Road South; that to the right is Bradstone Road.
