Montague Burton was renowned for his popular tailoring business, started in England in 1903. He was actually Moshe Osinsky, a Lithuanian Jew who arrived here in 1900 and went on to be knighted for services to industrial relations. Burton's produced and sold clothes for civilian and military buyers and also established a number of university chairs in industrial and international relations. See Image for a wider view of the shop - now another clothing firm's premises.
