This line of deciduous trees crowns a line of raised ground along the public footpath near the farm at Boarsgrove, possibly an ancient field boundary; the tree roots have been exposed by erosion. To the left lies a lower area of marshy ground; to the right is rough sheep pasture. View on an overcast afternoon in early March. See also Image
