A solitary narrowboat moored at the side of the Birmingham and Fazeley Canal. The lock ahead is Lock No.1 at the King Edward's Road Bridge end of the Farmer's Bridge flight of locks. This is at the top of a flight of thirteen locks that alter the final water level by 81ft (24.6 metres) within 750 metres. A Grade II-listed replica of a lock-keeper's toll booth can be seen below the lettering spelling out the word "Groundwork" on a property situated behind the booth. The 48 year old, 152 metre/499ft high, BT Tower (formerly "The Post Office Tower" and, before that "The GPO Tower") is also visible.
