London Overground services collect their passengers at Highbury & Islington. On the left in platform 7 is 378232, a class 378 electric unit bound for Richmond from Stratford. On the right in platform 2 is 378225 with a service for Clapham Junction. Platforms 1 and 2 were the North London Line platforms until the station was rebuilt between 2010 and 2011. Since the rebuild, they handle terminating services from Crystal Palace and Clapham Junction via the East London Line. The North London Line was re-routed onto platforms 7 and 8. Where are platforms 3 to 6 you may ask? They are below ground serving the Victoria Line and the Great Northern City Branch.
