A view under the bridge which carries Chaworth Road over the Nottingham-Grantham line at Netherfield Station (formerly Netherfield & Colwick). The signal box, a British Railways replacement for the Great Northern Railway original, has been made redundant by the resignalling of Nottingham Midland Station and its approaches. Houses in Bakersfield are on the skyline. (The signal box was demolished in 2014.)
