Sherwood Primary School has been classed twice by OFSTED as an "outstanding" school (January 2009 and May 2012). They also hold several other awards including Investors in People, The National Achievement Award in recognition of their significant improvement in standards and the National Curriculum Award, recognising all the extra work they do for the school, local and national community.
