The memorial unveiled in 1998 by two of the survivors at Hopes Carr Image reads: IN MEMORY OF THE SEVENTY TWO PASSENGERS AND CREW WHO LOST THEIR LIVES IN THE STOCKPORT AIR DISASTER 4th JUNE 1967
