Not the London Oval, but the oval at Burgh Hall Street in Partick, which overlooks the historic West Of Scotland Cricket Club ground. The ground is the site of the first ever international football match. The date was 30 November 1872 and the teams were Scotland and England. 4000 spectators witnessed a goalless draw.
