The village of Pentre lies on the route of the Severn Way on its course from Plynlimon to Bristol. Pentre is on other routes too - the former line of the Shropshire & Montgomeryshire Railway, disused since 1962 and route 81 of the National Cycle Network. Time taken 12.52 pm BST (British Summer Time).
