Opened as "Dunfermline Comeley Park" in 1877 by the Dunfermline & Queensferry Railway on what is now the Fife Circle line from Inverkeithing to Kirkcaldy. The name was changed to "Dunfermline Lower" in 1889, to "Dunfermline" in 1988, to "Dunfermline Town" in 2000, and to "Dunfermline City" in 2022. View north east towards Queen Margaret and Kirkcaldy.
