Confusing road signs

Image: © Marathon Taken: 15 Aug 2013

Taken from a sharp bend in Stoke Road where it meets New Hall Farm Lane, this view looks towards Grain Power Station. The road signs alongside each other look slightly contradictory. Allhallows is to the left and Lower Stoke is to the right. As usual you will not find the name of a road leading to a place within that place - hence the signs here. To confuse matters more the Ordnance Survey Maps show only Stoke Road with no mention of Allhallows Road.
