Despite the photographer managing to very precisely block out the critical word with a road sign, this is The Old Tiger's Head, compared to the currently shut Image over the road. Ironically this building, opened in 1896 to replace an earlier version, is actually newer than its counterpart. The road in front is the B212 Lee Road.
