The notorious Junction 15 west bound sliproad from Castle Street which joins the motorway at the "fast" lane. This is a remnant from the original ring road plans which would have made this sliproad the main road, with the road from Edinburgh joining from the left (the right as seen in this photo). A similar sliproad can be seen on the east bound carriageway leaving the fast lane to join Castle Street.
