The bridge carries the Heart of Wales railway over the A44 about 650 metres west of Pen-y-Bont railway station. The identifier on the bridge is Grove Villa 28m 54¼ c CWL2. The overhead clearance shown on the side of the bridge is 4.4m (14' 6").
