The bus stops, 'Worth Road, Pound Hill', were set up for the improved Metrobus route 7 to Gatwick, and the very infrequent Metrobus route 272 from Haywards Heath then started using them. Economics has meant that both routes are now defunct. However, a shortened route 272 was revived, with Sussex Coaches giving a once a day service from Balcombe to Crawley and back, timed for shoppers. This is the only service at these stops although stops close by on other roads give good services.
