This church is unique on the island of Ireland in that for a period of fifty years (1919-1969) it had two successive Welsh Unitarians as its minister - Rev. James Glynne Davies ministered there from 1919-1964; and the Rev. Robert Islwyn Pritchard from 1965-1969. Glynne Davies was a former miner and Islwyn Pritchard the son of a slate quarryman. Islwyn was a first cousin of my mother. The present incumbent is the Rev. I. Gilpin.
