An expensive bank (originally for the Birmingham Joint Stock Bank), "its facade a study in interpenetrating orders". We have Doric under Corinthian. Each column has its own base and entablature and they are not connected which seems to give the facade extra depth. By J.A. Chatwin, 1862-64. Grade II listed. Now a Fuller's pub, named in homage, the Old Joint Stock.
