Now home to Newton Newton, bespoke flag and banner manufacturers http://www.newtonnewtonflags.com Built in 1867 and paid for by former Burgh-le-Marsh vicar, then Bishop of Nyasaland, Bishop Tozer. It served as a chapel of ease with a school on the ground floor and chapel on the upper floor until it closed in 1936 and occupied by coastal defence units during the war. It stood empty and derelict until rescued by the Newton family in 1983 who have restored this remarkable grade II listed building and given it a new lease of life with their thriving business.
