Helperby Hall

Image: © Gordon Hatton Taken: 7 Mar 2007

A rather unusual building dating from around 1900. The design would suggest a school or hospital rather than a house. An inscription above the door reads... Les Marionettes Font, font, font Trois petits tours Et puis s'en vont. [note to Geograph: The house just comes within this square on the 1:50000 map, but on the 1:25000 it straddles the grid line with part of the building in SE4469. I've put it in SE4369 for convenience]
