View across the Staines reservoir from the causeway looking towards the area of Stanwell Place (aka Heathrow's next runway). This reservoir was developed by the Metropolitan Water Board in the Edwardian era and is one of the oldest of the reservoirs around West London, only the Sunbury reservoirs being older.
