Wembley Stadium Twin Towers - shut down!

This photo was taken in May 2002 - almost two years after the famous old stadium hosted its final event. Legal wrangling prevented the demolition job from starting promptly and so lovers of the classic towers were able to enjoy them for just a little bit longer - before they were demolished later that year to make way for the new stadium, never to be seen again.
