The Orange Tree was closed on 20/02/06 and in April 2007 was awaiting demolition so that a block of flats could be erected on the site http://www.dover-kent.com/Orange-Tree.html To its left is Farthingloe Court that was built on the site of the Maxton tram depot, which opened in December 1897 and closed on 31 December 1936.
