John Parkin & Son, funeral directors, established 1898, relocated to No.3 Saltshouse Road in 1968. The premises include Eastfield Cottage, circa 1600, and Eastfield House, 1680. Eastfield was one of the three arable fields in the parish of Sutton on Hull. The cottage and house are situated a short distance from the field, in the Ings. See also: Image
