Although the colour is a much richer blue than the purplish version shown in several guides, I think that this might still be tufted vetch http://www.habitas.org.uk/flora/species.asp?item=3283 , growing at the north eastern end of Glasswater Wood. Further information very welcome. Image shows the leaves.
