Chapel of The Nativity

Image: © Des Blenkinsopp Taken: 22 Jul 2013

This was built in 1889 as a chapel of ease to save Christmas Commoners making the 2 mile trek up and down Watlington Hill to get to church. It didn't have a very long life as a church. It became redundant and is now somebody's house. The graveyard is still kept trimmed and presumably is still consecrated. The building is right on the gridline so this image Image taken from the opposite end is in the square to the north.
