On the corner of High Street and Blackmore View. A blue plaque on the building records that the old Dissenting Chapel (Unitarian) was erected in 1710 on the site of a former barn at the rear of the White Hart Inn. The congregation moved from premises in Theatre Lane (now East Street). Later rebuilding to the chapel seen here was in part financed by local benefactress Miss Leigh Browne.
