For context, see Image The vault with the low stone wall, but without iron railings, contains the gravestone of Patrick Slight, and (I believe) that of William Gregor; both men were ministers of Bonhill Parish. For much more information, and for a view of the interior, see Image There are about half a dozen stones in this enclosure, but the inscriptions on most of them are illegible; most probably, they are for other ministers of Bonhill Parish. At any rate, Patrick Slight's gravestone can be identified; it is the one furthest to the right, against the back wall. He was the parish minister from 1803 until his death in 1808. His successor was William Gregor, who was parish minister from 1809 to 1848, a well-educated man who was memorable for his sometimes eccentric sayings.
