This postbox is set within the fabric of Image], on Station Road in the heart of town. It has final collection times of 5:45 on weekday evenings and 12:15 on Saturday afternoons. The postbox reference number does not suggest that there are two thousand boxes in New Milton! A town's main sorting office or post office postbox often has the number 2000 while the others are numbered haphazardly from 1 to whatever is required.
