18th Century Cottages on Greenside, Ribchester

No.'s 1-3 Greenside are seen from the village green in Ribchester. The pair to the left (no.'s 1-2) share a datestone of 1778. The 'half-timbered' third storey of no.1 is a modern (1980s) addition. The white building, no.3, is dated 1780 and was originally two cottages that have been joined to form one large house. The building to the extreme left was a barn that was converted into a small cottage in the 1930s.
