View westward, towards Challoch Junction and Stranraer: ex-Portpatrick & Wigtownshire (Caledonian, G&SWR, LNWR & Midland) Joint Railway, (Dumfries) - Castle Douglas - Challoch Junction - Stranraer main line. The station was closed when the whole line between Dumfries and Challoch Junction was closed on 14/6/65.
