Late 18th century mansion overlooking Godstone Golf Club. Past occupants included Sir George Gilbert Scott who lived here in the 1870s. From 1954 to 1994 it housed a boy's boarding school. Planning permission has now been granted for conversion to a hotel. Grade II listed - see www.historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1189762
