Built between 1858 & 1862 by Mr J Holtham to a design by J H Bayliss of Swansea. Consecrated 13th July 1862. The Spire which is 64m high is also an Ordnance Survey Intersected Station. There is a Cut Mark on the NW face (Photo at http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/3552697 )
