These form the Brontë Interpretation Centre and the beginning of the Brontë Homeland Tour. This rural area between the town of Rathfriland and the village of Ballyroney was where Patrick Brontë, then known as Patrick Brunty (born 1777), lived and earned his living as a teacher until he left for Cambridge in 1802. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Patrick_Bront%C3%AB
