This imposing building stands at the foot of Torwood Street. It was designed by PR Wood to be a theatre, but was never completed as such, opening instead in 1909 as a shopping arcade. The interior has long since been gutted and modernised, though the building is still home to a number of shops. There is a relief panel of Neptune, and statue groups of Fame and Justice on the roof - Close-ups: Image], Image], Image
