Drivers relying on satellite navigation systems may be irritated to find that motor vehicles cannot proceed any further along Oak Road from this point? A half mile section of Oak Road from this Beresford Avenue end of it (i.e. in front of the Oak Road Playing Fields) up to the Clough Road end of Oak Road can only be used by cyclists, walkers etc. The extensive Oak Road Playing Fields are situated on the left of this picture.
