A number of plaques have been displayed around Weston-super-Mare and this one is on the old Wood Lane quarry. Having been studied by Dr Gustavus St Brody it is now fenced off and provides outdoor pursuits such as rock-climbing. See http://www.wondersofweston.org/ for the plaque story .
