The Earlswood Veterinary Hospital http://www.earlswoodvets.com/about-earlswood/about-earlswood.php at 193 Belmont Road. The building seems to be a late-Victorian villa built as “Marlborough House” for John Shaw, druggist (now called a “pharmacist”) who might have been a partner in Shaw & Jamison, wholesale druggists at Townhall Street. The Belmont Road subsequently seems to have been re-numbered. Marlborough House was once no 213. It later became a nursing home. This photograph appears as a matter of record only. I have no connection with the hospital.
