The 'king and queen' heads form corbels (or label-stops) at the west doorway of the church: http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/3532026 For the queen, see: http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/3532046 I don't know whether it makes sense to talk about 'expression' when faces are so highly stylised - but such expression as there is I would read as somewhat forbidding.
