Opened in 1864 by the Hull & Hornsea Railway, which soon to become part of the North Eastern Railway empire, this station closed to passengers in 1964 and completely in 1965. View south west towards Wassand and Hull. The railway embankment and bridge over the road have been removed to create a roundabout, and we are looking at where the embankment restarts. Because it was on an embankment, the station was of a light weight wooden construction. No trace apparently remains.
