The very smart modern signpost with the carved inscription may lead you to believe that Sir Watkin's Tower is something to behold. Well, the walk is certainly worth the effort for the views, but the tower, whilst still being historically interesting, is a ruin. See John Haynes photo Image . The radio mast on Cyrn-y-brain in the distance is certainly not Sir Watkin's Tower.
